What is VIEW?
VIEW stands for Virtual Interactive English Workshop. VIEW is the first classroom based LIVE ONLINE English language teaching system and a pioneer of interactive teaching methodology. We use real people live online represented on classroom screens as avatars (animated characters). Our living and breathing avatars accurately and precisely mimic the teacher’s actions.

What is an avatar?
An avatar is a computer generated character used to represent a person on screen. Our avatars are able to show a wide spectrum of human emotions, while at the same time allow them to interact, teach and entertain your children. As our teachers are real people working in real time; the children will interact with the avatar like a normal “in Class” teacher, only they will be having a lot more fun.

How does it work?
We have developed a technology that combines facial recognition software and video motion capture technology that allows us to render facial movements of a real person into that of an animated character. Coupled with this we use a private internet connection to render the character in real-time to our classrooms worldwide.

How do the avatars mimic human characteristics?
Using VIEW’s revolutionary software, we can digitally map a teacher’s face so that when they do anything on their face it will be translated to the avatar on the screen. So this is a living breathing animation that will be able to interact with the students and take teaching to a level that has not been seen before.

What benefits does an avatar have over a real teacher?
Over time the fascination a child has with a teacher can fade while being able to interact with an animated character will fascinate them and keep their attention for a long time. Children love cartoons, but this is the first time where they can interact with a character that will know them by name and act in the same way a real teacher would.

Why does VIEW look more like playing that learning?
Teaching children, particularly young children means we must keep them engaged at all times. They learn best when they are having fun. We have designed our curriculum so that they are learning at all times.

Why is this better than a computer program?
A computer program is a great learning tool, but it has its limitations and will never be the answer to outright fluency. Students of English must have live conversation to master the language. VIEW is a Live English Teacher that is represented as an avatar who is there to facilitate your child’s language acquisition and guide the student through the program while increasing the interaction!

How do I know that the VIEW Program works?
